Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Levels A, C, BLS) Blended

Lifeline offers an online blended course for participants to choose from.  This course includes first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for participants that need training due to work requirements and or who would like to gain knowledge to emergencies at home. Our course meets the Canadian Red Cross requirements for the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and requirements.

Mandatory Pocket Masks: To ensure the safety of our participants we have been instructed by the Canadian Red Cross to transition and advise all of our participants to use pocket masks. We at Lifeline CPR and First Aid recommend you bring your own pocket mask to your course. Pocket masks can be purchased at our training facility for $10.00 each. If you would like to purchase them online:

Course Delivery:

Lifeline will create an interactive classroom experience, whether in a traditional classroom setting, or in a private workplace setting. All participants will gain knowledge and skills practice led by a Canadian Red Cross certified instructor.

The online training must be completed before attending the in person training. Full payment is required in order to obtain access to the online training. The second portion of the course will be completed in person on a different date and will focus on the hands on skills training.   • The chosen course date is before your current card expiry date

  • Please note, if your card is expired you will need to take the full Standard First Aid course

  • The last course you took was a full Standard First Aid course, not a 1 day re-certification

This course includes an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Our course meets and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines from the Canadian Red Cross. We also meet the OHS regulations for Basic First Aid and Exceed competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.

CPR/AED Levels A, C

Lifeline offers a traditional in person course or a blended online course for participants to choose from. This course includes a Canadian Red Cross Certification in CPR/AED, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) providing the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. Courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Babysitter Course

Lifeline offers an 1 day babysitting course that includes the basic first aid and care giving skills for youth 11–15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. Course also offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents. Our course meets the Canadian Red Cross requirements for the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and requirements.

Course Delivery:

All participants will gain knowledge and skills practice led by a Canadian Red Cross certified Instructor.

Stay Safe!

Lifeline offers a 1 day Canadian Red Cross program that helps children learn and respond to challenges to improve their safety. Our course will apply basic first aid and safety skills for youth 9-13 years old. Participants will learn about being safe when they are without the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult, both at home and in their communities. Our course meets the Canadian Red Cross requirements for the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and requirements.

All participants will gain knowledge and skills practice led by a Canadian Red Cross certified Instructor.

Lifeline will create an interactive classroom experience, whether in a traditional classroom setting, or in a private workplace setting. All participants will gain knowledge and skills practice led by a Canadian Red Cross certified Instructor.

Audience

In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals. Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.
